Information needed
All the information we need can be found on your existing invoices:
- Half hourly supplies are priced using your historical data this can be supplied by your existing company. 12 months HH data is normally sufficient.
- Your KVA -this is your 'allowance' to take electricity from the grid
- Are you a Low Voltage or High Voltage site?(do you have a substation at your site?)
- MPAN -your supply number

In order to ask the energy companies to supply your usage data we would ask for a copy of a letter of authority on your letter head. This ONLY gives us authority to gather information and act on your instructions.
How do we work?

If you want us to get a competitive quote they will tender your supply to the most suitable suppliers form a panel. Certain suppliers we will not support and due to the way they treat clients, some suppliers need tight management of the T&C's in order that you are not trapped into unexpected payments.
Background to HH electricity:
The UKs electricity is generated primarily from gas fired power stations. When the gas market jumps so do electricity prices. However there is another problem....you cannot store electricity so when the demand is high, extra -expensive- capacity has to be brought online.
The graph above shows the wholesale electricity price and the instability in the market. Notice how contracts priced for the October buying round fall into the winter price rises. Large energy users can find it advantageous to move out of this buying peak. The sharp rises and instability of pricing through the winter months is also evident.
