The grand plan is for diversity of energy supply in the UK. To this end liquefied natural gas is supposed to shipped to four terminals around the UK. Milford Haven, the Isle of Grain and Teeside are being developed to take these shipments.
However the Teeside development was completed in January this year and has yet to take a single shipment....Why? The rest of the world is prepared to pay more for this gas than the UK.
